BTS Suga has achieved the highest K-pop solo performance on Billboard’s main album chart “Billboard 200.”
According to Billboard on the 1st (local time), BTS Suga’s second mix tape “D-2” released under his personal name “Agust D” ranked 11th on the Billboard 200 on the 6th.

Suga has already topped the charts four times with BTS members. The 11th place is the best solo album in Korea.
Earlier, BTS members continued to break the record for solo artists on the chart. J-Hope’s “Hope World” ranked 38th in March 2018 and RM’s “Mono” ranked 26th in October that year. In other words, Suga touched the baton within the team.
In addition, Suga’s latest album draws attention in that it is a “mix tape” like J-Hope and RM’s previous solo albums. The album was distributed free of charge for non-commercial purposes. Some foreign music platforms require purchases, but you can listen to them free of charge on SoundCloud and others.
“D-2” ranked seventh on the British Official Albums Chart, which is known as the world’s two largest pop charts along with the Billboard chart, and also set the highest Korean solo artist record on the chart. The title track “Daechwita” ranked 68th on the “Official Single Chart Top 100.”
