The group BTS’s V fandom is actively participating in the “BLM (Black Lives Matter)” (BLM) campaign to improve human rights for black people and showing good influence.
BTS said on its official Twitter account on the 4th, “We oppose racism. We are against violence. I, you, we all have the right to be respected. We’ll be together,” he wrote in Korean and English.
In the meantime, BTS made it clear that it supports the anti-racism movement by using hashtags (#) of “BlackLivesMatter.”
Protests have spread across the U.S. recently, as a white police officer killed unarmed black George Floyd in Minneapolis, Minnesota last month. Online posts with “BlackLivesMatter” hashtags have been posted one after another, prompting criticism of racial discrimination.
