While V, a member of the group BTS, is in the spotlight as a source of inspiration for countless artists, an overseas cosmetics company said it was inspired by V when it released a new product, drawing attention.
Malaysia’s “IrisA Cosmetics” recently posted a photo of V on its official Instagram, promoting the release of a lip product inspired by V’s song “Stigma.” The company declares that it will make vegan cosmetics.

V’s 2016 “Stigma” is still on the charts of each country over time. V is re-entering the top spot on iTunes’ top song charts in Singapore, Vietnam, Kenya and Indonesia to mark the seventh anniversary of his first release. On June 3, it topped the Swaziland iTunes Top Song Chart, with Stigma topping iTunes in 13 countries.
In “Stigma,” V was evaluated for his deep low-pitched voice and smooth falsetto with a vocal that seemed to talk to him. Inspired by the mood of these songs, the cosmetics company launched a matte lip color with a low chroma “dried rose.”
Inspired by V, artists who present their creations range from painters, singers, and photographers, which are also influencing the release of new products by companies.
Sam Dameshek, a famous American photographer, called V “My Boy V” and showed special affection. The Japanese magazine “CREA,” which filmed BTS’ pictorials, once described V as a person who combines sexy beauty and unprotected boyhood. V’s image crosses the spectrum without limits from smile to decadent beauty.
Regarding the phenomenon of V being spotlighted as a muse, a source of inspiration, overseas media analyzed that “V’s existence itself is a true discovery.”
