According to iTunes, V’s self-composed song “Sweet Night” has recently topped the iTunes Top Song Chart in Caboberde, Bermuda and Mongolia, breaking the record for Asian solo artists.
With this, “Sweet Night” has been ranked No. 1 in 93 countries so far, continuing its record-breaking streak since its release.

“Sweet Night,” which was released in March as the OST for JTBC’s popular drama “Itaewon Class,” has made a remarkable move, starting with simultaneous entry to the top of the iTunes Top Song Chart in the U.S. and the U. Since the release of the song, it has been selected as the ninth emerging artist by V Billboard and has also been recognized for its musicality. It also set a splendid record, ranking first in Worldwide iTunes Top Songs, No. 1 in Europe’s iTunes Top Songs, No. 2 in Billboard’s U.S. Digital Song Sales, and No. 10 in the U.K.’s Digital Song Sales. In addition, it has also set a record of topping the list in all Arab countries where iTunes can be aggregated.
In particular, “Sweet Night” is more meaningful in that it continues its current popularity without any promotion as a drama insertion song.
