Car chase involving possible stolen vehicle ends in Long Beach; suspect arrested

Six people were injured, two critically, after part of a heating and ventilation system collapsed at a resort pool in Colorado. The collapse occurred at the Gaylord Rockies resort near Denver International Airport, covering nearly the entire area of the pool. The victims suffered injuries ranging from cuts to "injuries consistent with being crushed". Fire Chief Alec Oughton said crews were already at the resort when the collapse happened. The resort will conduct an investigation into the cause of the collapse and will be responsible for keeping guests out of the pool area.

A part of the heating and ventilation system collapsed at the Gaylord Rockies resort pool in Colorado injuring six people on Saturday. Two people are in critical condition.

According to Aurora Fire Rescue, the incident occurred at around 9:50 a.m. and 50 to 100 guests were in the pool area when large metal ductwork and mechanical parts fell from the ceiling and covered almost the entire area of the pool.

Injuries ranged from penetrating wounds and cuts to “injuries consistent with being crushed.” The resort will be responsible for keeping guests out of the pool area and conducting an investigation into the cause of the collapse.
