Cardi B has launched the ‘Bardi Beauty’ cosmetics brand to look for another billion in revenue structure besides music.
TMZ reports that Washpoppin Inc., Cardibi’s company, has filed legal documents to secure the name Bardi Beauty. Cardibi also signed the papers as the official CEO of Wash Poppin with her real name Belcalis Almanzar to show how sincerely she is dealing with the new business.
Cardi B is one of the most popular rappers in the industry right now, so this business move is considered a very smart choice. The New York Bronx superstar is trying to name many beauty products, including perfumes, cosmetics, and nail polish. In her short six-year career, Cardi has collaborated with Pepsi, Lyft, Steve Madden, Fashion Nova, and most recently Reebok and other well-known brands. She’s only collaborated so far and hasn’t created her own brand, but given how loyal and dedicated Cardi Gang is, business is not expected to be successful.
Cardi said, “The artists who influence me the most right now are Rihanna and Jay-Z. And I’m not saying this at all to suck their XX. Rihanna, like my parents, became a billionaire despite being from a Caribbean country, Jay-Z is from a slum but now he is a billionaire. It’s all about how you plan your strategy, who you shake hands with, how you implement it.”
