JYP Entertainment is conducting a secret project JYPn to create a new girl group that will succeed TWICE and ITZY. After opening a new SNS channel in July this year, the debut single “Blind Package,” which sold without disclosing information about the group, achieved more than 60,000 pre-orders in just 10 days. It unveiled a seven-member member who will become a new girl group while still hiding the group’s name.
The members, who released the performance video on YouTube, boasted strong dance skills and explosive high notes, heralding the birth of a girl group with both visual and skills. In particular, Lily, the seventh member to be released, is drawing attention as she has appeared on the show. The identity of the project JYPn will be revealed in February 2022.
