Korean singer Bada and her daughter Lua will take to the runway at the 2023 F/W Seoul Fashion Week LIE Collection, according to a statement by designer Lee Chung-chung’s team.
This will be the first time the mother-daughter duo will grace a fashion show together, with Lua’s ethereal beauty often shared on Bada’s personal Instagram account.
With the theme of “PLUR: Peace, Love, Unity, Respect,” Bada and Lee Chung-chung aim to present a social message that shares and heals the pain and suffering people face around the world.
Bada expressed, “I felt that expressing and healing the painful news and stories that we hear around the world through fashion is precious.”
Bada’s proposal of lettering tattoo stickers will deliver LIE’s “PLUR” message in a more emotional and impactful way. Lua will also take part in LIE’s collaboration with Teddy Bear Museum, adding her unique soft and warm touch.
In addition to her fashion endeavors, Bada is planning the upcoming “Green Heart Bazaar,” where all proceeds will be donated to UNICEF. Designer Lee Chung-chung said, “I am grateful for the opportunity to participate in a good cause by contributing my collection and other products to the Green Heart Bazaar.”
