Group MONSTA X has postponed its North American tour in the aftermath of the new CORONA virus infection (COVID19.
Starship Entertainment, the agency, said it will postpone the performance of 2020 MONSTA X WORLD TOUR in US/CANADA, which was scheduled for June to July, in order to put top priority on protecting the health of the audience, artists and staff amid the growing number of cases of COVID19.
They said they plan to secure a new performance schedule so that the performance can be held again after the situation due to COVID19 is stabilized, and that ticket buyers will be contacted sequentially through the place of purchase. They added that they would like to ask fans who would have been upset by the delay in the performance and will promptly notify them of any further decisions.
Previously, MONSTA X was scheduled to hold a world tour in 2020 starting with performances in Seoul on the 9th and 10th, but canceled and postponed due to the COVID19 incident. It was then scheduled to host a North American tour from Minneapolis on June 2 to Los Angeles on July 11, but even this was postponed.
Meanwhile, MONSTA X will make a comeback with its new mini-album Fantasia X on May 26.
