A special Kurt Cobain-related auction item has been released that would interest Nirvana fans. The identity is Kurt Cobain’s six real strands of hair.
According to the introduction of iKONIC Auction, which is hosting the auction, the hair was cut when Nirvana was in Birmingham, England, for her first album “Bleach” tour in 1989. The successful bidder will also be provided with a picture of Tessa Osborne cutting Kurt Cobain’s hair at the time.

Tessa Osbourne sent the hair she cut to Seattle artist Nicole DePolo, who later passed it to John Reznikoff, a hair collector who holds the Guinness World Record for “Historical Hair Collection.” Currently, the auction will run until May 16, and as of May 9, the bidding price is $25 million.
Kurt Cobain’s lifetime hair auction is Amazing Music Auction (Vol.1) hosted by Iconic Auction. Details are available on the auction page.
