Singer Katie’s music video for her new song was selected as one of the best music videos that shone in April.
KATIE’s new digital single ECHO was recently selected as The 9 Best Music Video of April 2020, which was posted on its official website by renowned U.S. music media Pitchfolk.
KATIE is the second Korean artist to be named in the Monthly Best Music Video rankings by Pitchfolk, after Black Pink, proving its global artist-like potential.
Pitchfolk described Katie as a Los Angeles-based singer who has pioneered her own path ever since winning the 2015 Korean TV audition show K-pop Star 4 and the recently released single ECHO is filled with the beat with the Zai Paul-style electric guitar and R&B, which is also impressive for music videos that make a very good use of the high production cost of about $300,000.
For the ECHO music video, VM Projcet, which produced music videos of top K pop artists such as Black Pink, EXO and Red Velvet, took the megaphone. The music video, which was produced in Allocation, California in the U.S., has attracted the attention of viewers with its sensational visuals. Also, Park Jae-geun, the nation’s top model, is drawing more attention with his appearance.
Katie’s new song ECHO, released on April 24 through an online music platform around the world, is a future R&B genre song that overlaps the introduction of sad minor codes and cheerful rhythms, completed at the Los Angeles Song Session with producers who created their debut single Remember. Listeners have been receiving positive reviews every day for songs and music videos that boast high perfection and unique worldviews.
