Seventeen, who released its seventh mini-album “Henggarae” on April 22, topped the Gaon Chart’s monthly album chart and the retail store’s album chart in June, winning two gold medals, proving its true record power.
In particular, Seventeen’s seventh mini-album “Henggarae” topped sales of more than 1.09 million copies in the first week of its release, followed by 1,207,513 copies on the Gaon Chart, drawing keen attention to the achievement made in just nine days.
In addition, the album topped various music charts in Korea, including Hanteo Chart, Hot Tracks, and YES24, and also topped the Oricon Chart, Japan’s largest sales tally site, with three gold medals in the weekly digital album rankings, weekly album rankings and weekly combined albums, drawing attention for the second consecutive week in 12 years and eight months since Backstreet Boys.
In addition, the 7th mini album “Henggarae” topped iTunes album charts in many foreign regions, making SEVENTEEN feel its global presence on Billboard Japan and China’s QQ Music K-pop charts, and its title track “Left & Right” gained strength in both music and music charts, with its release at the same time reaching the top of major music charts including Melon, Genie and Bugs.
