Taeyang, a member of the popular K-pop group BIGBANG, has officially confirmed his comeback with a full album release in April. According to music industry officials, the album is set to be released on April 25th, just three months after the release of his latest single, “Vibe,” on January 13th.
This new album will be Taeyang’s first full album release in six years since “White Night” in 2017. The album will feature several of his own songs, including one that he personally worked on, promising to bring his fans great music. The music video has already been filmed and Taeyang will be promoting the album with a week-long appearance on various music shows, performing his new songs for fans.
Earlier this year, Taeyang released the single “Vibe” in collaboration with BTS member Jimin. The single reached the top of music charts and sparked a viral challenge, garnering over 100 million streams on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming platform. With this achievement, Taeyang now has two songs with over 100 million streams on Spotify, including “Eyes, Nose, Lips,” and a total of 10 songs from his solo albums with a cumulative streaming count of 373 million.
