Japan’s Fuji Rock Festival has officially announced its opening in two years. Last year’s festival was scheduled to be held in August, but it was postponed due to the spread of COVID 19, and organizers replaced the event with online events such as sending live videos in the past. However, it announced that this year’s 2021 Fuji Rock Festival would take place for three days, from August 20 to 22. The same place as before is the Naeba Resort.

Organizers said they would thoroughly take measures to prevent infection, aiming at the “special Fuji Rock held during the COVID 19 disaster.” As a result, the lineup will only be composed of Japanese domestic artists, and the number of entries will be limited. Line-up announcements and ticket sales are scheduled to begin in April, but tickets for last year’s festival are also available this year. Details on the official website.
