The music industry has been mourning the untimely death of Aaron Carter since November of last year. The talented singer was only 34 years old when he was found unconscious in his bathtub in his home in Lancaster, California. After five months of waiting, the cause of death has finally been revealed.
According to the autopsy report released by the Los Angeles County Coroner’s Office on April 18, Aaron Carter died of suffocation due to inhaling a combination of drugs and gas. The drugs found in his system included Alprazolam, commonly known as Xanax, which is a benzodiazepine used to treat anxiety and panic disorders. However, it is highly addictive and can cause respiratory depression if overdosed. Additionally, traces of the flammable gas difluoroethane were also found in his system.
