The American sensation, Ariana Grande, has announced on Instagram her participation as a coach on season 21 of “The Voice”. She will take Nick Jonas’ place after being a coach throughout seasons 18 and 20. The reason why he is leaving has not gone public yet, but it is believed that it might be an out of his hands situation.
The Grammy winner expressed how happy she feels of being part of the survival show “The Voice” along with Kelly Clarkson, John Legend and Blake Shelton. This won’t be Ariana Grande’s first time on the NBC’s show. She had performed once there before her song “Into You” with Christina Aguilera during the season 16 finale, but it is her first time as a coach. “I am so honored and excited to join The Voice family. I can’t wait togo head-to-head with the incredible coaches, get to know these new artists and help to take their craft to the next level” Ariana Grande expressed.
Ariana Grande taking Nick Jonas’ place doesn’t necessarily mean that he is forever leaving the show. A source said that he will remain on rotation with other artists that have appeared on the show. Many previous stars that disappear make big returns to the big red chairs, even when the coaching seasons are not consecutive. Therefore, there are big chances that he will come back soon!

But for now let’s cheer for Ariana Grande’s team in her participation on “The Voice”. A release date for season 21 has not been announced yet. But season 20 is still on every Monday and Tuesday nights at 20:00 hours EST on NBC. Therefore, make some space in your calendar and along the coaches support the contestants!
