The stories of people who shared the life and music of Bigbang’s Taeyang are recorded, conveying calm emotions.
On June 1st, Taeyang’s documentary, [白夜 | WHITE NIGHT], episode 5 of “High Non” was uploaded on Taeyang and Big Bang’s official YouTube channels. The video began with expressions about the sun that people around me say, such as “I’m very shy, but I think I’m really nice inside,” and “I’ve met for a long time, and I don’t know if I know well (laughing).”
Taeyang’s daily life was quite different from his charismatic appearance on stage. He drew attention with a comfortable and friendly manner, and continued his easy and pleasant communication with the people around him, making him feel humane.
Taeyang said, “I don’t think I have any real friends. The people I meet while working are my friends. If you don’t work, you don’t meet anyone at all,” he said. But when the staff said, “You have Ji-yong (G-Dragon),” he expressed his strong friendship with the members, saying, “Yes, that’s right. That’s what friends are for.”
The meaning of Big Bang and fans was also indispensable until the present sun. During the tour of his third full-length solo album “WHITE NIGHT,” Taeyang prepared the stage for Big Bang’s “LAST DANCE.” When asked why he prepared the song for the solo concert in an interview conducted at the time, he said, “I thought there would be parts that were connected to the fans when they felt the meaning of the song, so I sang it.”
Later, Taeyang’s “LAST DANCE” live performance, which was born with sweet vocals and piano accompaniment, followed by scenes of Big Bang’s activities, evoking memories and emotions. At the time of the performance, countless fans added voices singing along with the song in one voice, reminding them of the life of the sun, the Big Bang that cannot be missed by music, and the meaning of the fans.
The documentary [White | WHITE NIGHT] will air in eight episodes in total. It will be released every Monday and Thursday at 7 p.m. for four weeks from May 18.
