Album Package Design for ‘LOVE YOURSELF’ series
(PRESSREELS) BTS The album package design of the “LOVE YOURSELF” series won the Winner Award in the brand & communication category of the “2020 Red Dot Design Awards.”
The “LOVE YOURSELF” package, which was released with a total of three albums from 2017 to 2018, was recognized for its high completeness for its design that implies the story and message contained in each album.
The Red Dot Design Awards is a world-renowned design award ceremony that has been famous for 66 years since 1955. Again, companies and organizations from more than 50 countries around the world submitted about 7,000 works and were judged.
BTS‘s “LOVE YOURSELF” package design compares the excitement of starting love, the pain of facing false love, and the narrative that goes through the series, which is the beginning of true love.
The album of 承 “Her,” 轉 “Tear” and 結 “Answer” will be released in four versions each, and a total of 12 album covers, CDs and photo cards will lead to an image.
Meanwhile, BTS‘s LOVE YOURSELF BTS ‘Tear’ was the first Korean album design to win the 61st Grammy Awards ‘Best Recording Package’ last year.
