(PRESSREELS) On the afternoon of August 13, BTS posted a notice to hold the concert “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” on its official SNS including community platform Weverse.
According to the notice, “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E” will be held in Seoul on October 10 and 11, and will be held simultaneously with online streaming and offline performances.
Big Hit Entertainment explained, “Offline performances will only open some seats to observe the distance between the seats in accordance with the local government’s quarantine guidelines.” Details of the concert, including concert halls and ticket sales, will be announced separately later.
BTS’s offline concert is the first in a year since “LOVE YOURSELF: SPEAK YOURSELF [THE FINAL]” held at Jamsil Stadium in Seoul in October last year. This concert is meant to be an “online edition” performance with only one “ONE.”
In April, BTS completely rescheduled its ‘BTS MAP OF THE SOUL TOUR’ due to the global spread of COVID19.
After readjusting the entire tour schedule, he held a live performance “BANG BANG CON The Live” online in June to interact with fans. “BANG BANG CON The Live” was watched in a total of 107 regions, and the number of simultaneous users reached a new Guinness world record of 756,600, which was evaluated as opening a “new era of on-contact performances.”
