(PRESSREELS) BTS member J-Hope’s solo songs are showing off their popularity as they have topped overseas iTunes charts in a row.
According to the iTunes chart, “Trivia 起:Just Dance” and “Outro: Ego” topped the singles charts in Peru and Indonesia on June 7.
“Just Dance” is a future house genre song from BTS’ repackaged album “LOVE YOURSELF 結 Answer,” released in August 2018.
It is a song about love and excitement that I felt when I first started dancing. It was designated as the first solo performance song of the BTS tour in 2018 and 2019, and is famous for instantly wowing tens of thousands of fans who filled the stadium.
“Just Dance” made headlines on September 19, 2019, when it surpassed 100,000 units of download and streaming in the U.S.
“Auro: Ego” is a song included in BTS’ fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL : 7,” which was released in February this year.
It is an energetic pop genre based on Afrikaan rhythm, and it was a song with a pledge that “it was not easy to walk to become J-Hope, not Jung Ho-seok, but I will continue to walk on it because the choice of fate was not wrong.”
“J-Hope gave us the most amazing moment on the album with Outro:Ego,” the American music media “Rollingstone” said in a review article on February 24.
Meanwhile, BTS is expected to host its online live performance “The Live” on the 14th.
