(PRESSREELS) BTS V’s self-composed song “Sweet Night” is gaining high popularity overseas even after the drama’s end as an OST for JTBC’s popular drama “Itaewon Class,” starring actor Park Seo-joon.
According to iTunes, “Sweet Night” topped South Africa’s “Tune’s Top Song” on the 24th. V has so far topped iTunes Top Songs charts in 90 countries with the song.

Fans around the world have started celebrating with #RecordSetterV hashtags. Korea’s No. 1 real-time trend. V’s new nickname, “RecordSetterV,” has been decorated in real-time trends in countries such as the sixth-ranked world wide.

“Sweet Night” has been showing unabated popularity since its release. At the time of its release, it simultaneously entered the top spot on the iTunes Top Song Chart in the U.S., and with this song, V was selected as the ninth emerging artist by Billboard. It also set high records, including No. 1 on Worldwide iTunes Top Songs, No. 1 on Europe’s iTunes Top Songs, No. 2 on Billboard’s U.S. Digital Song Sales, No. 10 on Britain’s Digital Song Sales and No. 9 on France’s Digital Song Sales.
