BTS member V topped the “IDOL GIF AWARDS” hosted by Chinese portal site Shina’s “Cina Weibo Hallyu Official Account.”

The “Shina Weibo Hallyu Account” held a vote on the GIF image of K-pop idols for about a month from April 26 to May 29 under the theme of heartwarming expressions, beautiful faces and stage performance photos. As a result, V topped the list with a combined score of 123,000 points including retweets, comments and likes, beating 79,000 points in second place by an overwhelming margin.

Countless Chinese K-pop fans participated in the event, recording more than 111,000 posts and more than 150 million views, and one can guess the heat.

V topped the list in April with a total of 727,754 votes, thanks to the overwhelming popularity of the “Singularity” stage performance among the “five most legendary solo stages selected by Chinese netizens.” As a result, V was recognized for his performance and appearance at the same time.

While BTS has no activity in China, V’s status is truly great. It became the first BTS member to surpass 1 million followers in Weibo Fan Page, which is a real popular indicator, and became the first celebrity fan site in China to enter Shina weibo’s “Hot Media Social Ranking 100.”

(PRESSREELS) In BTS‘s own entertainment program “Run BTS!” released on August 4, he visited Hyundai Motor Studio and continued to play “Treasure hunt” games.

In the first round following last week, all of the BTS members worked together to find the key to the vehicle with the hint box hidden. On the other hand, he played a second round game to find a password for his individual match to open a single treasure box.

During the game, Jungkook started looking for hints with ease and acted as if he would be the first to succeed, helping RM and V.

However, Jungkook was the last to find out the password and called the password “I’ve got it all” written in the treasure box.

The production team said, “Mr. Jungkook, what’s today’s product!” and Jungkook put on a look of meaning. When the production team said, “Go home after the end,” he said, “Oh, you really went home?” with a dejected smile.

Also, when the production team said that all the members had already left the office, they reaffirmed the facts and made viewers laugh with a bitter smile that they couldn’t believe it.
