The newest “Bachelorette” has finally been revealed by “Good Morning America” this morning, and it will be Clare Crawley.
This is going to be the 16th season for this show.
Crawley, who is currently 38, was one of the casts from season 18 of “The Bachelor.” She was introduced as a fake pregnant lady in the mansion. Just this weekend, she, herself revealed that she will be the “Bachelorette” and that it was unexpected.
She talked too about her kind of partner that she wants to meet. When it comes to the looks, she said, “The most important thing is I want a man that will take off his armor. I want a man who is strong but is willing to take off the body armor, open himself up and be vulnerable, and I think that is some serious strength right there.”
Then she added, “It’s all what’s on the inside for me. If you line up the guys that I have dated in the past, there’s no one thing I’m looking for physically. It’s more if they go out of their way for me, and they make me feel special because this is about me now, and I’m ready for it.”
During the interview, she talked about her age and what advantages it could bring to her. “A lot of people put it out there as this negative thing, but for me, it just is more years under my belt, more learning and knowing what I want, what I don’t want, and what I won’t settle for,” Crawley added.
Age for her was never an issue when it comes to love, “I have been known to date younger guys, so that’s not a problem for me. The thing is I’m wondering if they’re ready for me, for my age. I feel like that would be more of an issue than me with them because I feel so much younger at heart than my actual age.”
She is not ashamed of her age and even said, “I’m proud of my age, but I just feel younger, and I feel like that to me is what’s important.”
For those who recalled the moments during the season with Galavis, they had the chemistry, which can be seen, but unfortunately, it didn’t work well enough.
There were sometimes when he was treating Crawley horribly and asking her always questions about her self-worth.
That wasn’t a perfect picture during a steamy moment on the television with hundreds of thousands watching them.
The finale ended with a lot of women cheering up for her. “A lot of people have seen that side of me that stood up to Juan Pablo and is like, ‘Don’t mess with me,’ and I am that strong woman still. But what even more so is added to that is, like I said, taking off that armor and speaking, I’m strong enough to let somebody in, to be vulnerable and open up and share that with them.”
Clare Crawley isn’t sure who she will end up with but hopefully “somebody who he genuinely loves and has strong feelings for, and that is up to him.”
