Fans of pop icon Janet Jackson rejoice now for she is heading out on tour this summer. During an interview last night at The Tonight Show, she talked about her new album and some memories with the host, Jimmy Fallon.
Wearing a low-cut black lace top which revealed her décolletage and a leather jacket with cut-open sleeves and loose pants, this pop star didn’t age a bit. She still looked as chic as she was a couple of decades ago.
She had black boots and large gold triangle earnings and bracelets to go along with her outfit. It has been known that she changed her images over and the past years.
In the 1990s, her look was different, she had long dreadlocks, but at present, she looked healthy and fierce.
She posted a photo of her on Instagram just before the show with Falcon went on air.
In less than 12 hours, she had 131,000 likes and counting and 3,700 comments. This diva has 4.1 million followers.
The last album of Jackson was in 2015, Unbreakable.
Her latest release would be called Black Diamond. There is not so much information regarding it yet, including the release date.
According to the singer, it is named Black Diamond because “It’s the toughest of the stones, of the diamonds, to cut. I heard that immediately. It’s hard to hurt, to destroy. And in my last few years, I’ve come to realize that I’m incredibly strong.”
With regards to her 2020 Black Diamond world Tour, which was also named after her upcoming album, there will be new music and with some of the greatest hits from her 12 platinum albums in the past.
The Janet Jackson 2020 Black Diamond World Tour will start in Florida and end in Washington state.
