(NEW K.ID) NEW K.ID, a TV channel for K-POP fans in the U.S., updated more than 460 new, premium episodes in the 4th week of June. Along with existing programs such as K-Pop Music Shows and K-Sitcoms, all latest episodes from YG Entertainment, popular K-Pop idols’ variety shows at home, and Wassup Man, a comic reality show traveling every corner in Korea, are updated in abundance to relieve the depression of viewers during COVID-19. The ratings for the 4th week of June reveal U.S. viewers’ high interest in new content and popularity for comeback idols.

GFRIEND scored No. 1 on the NEW K.ID Weekly Idol TOP10 ratings in the 4th week of June. They are planned to come back with its new album ‘回: Song of the sirens’ on July 13, and it makes us expect solid storytelling, which is GFRIEND’s strength.
N.Flying and TXT ranked No. 2 and 3 in order after GFRIEND. N.Flying is actively communicating with fans after making a comeback stage with their 7th mini-album, ‘So,通’ on June 10. TXT made their comeback stage with their 2nd mini album ‘THE DREAM CHAPTER: ETERNITY’ in May. and TXT ranked TOP 10 for two consecutive weeks on the U.S Billboard world album chart.
DAY6 reached No. 4. They proved the boy band group’s competitiveness along with N.Flying at No. 2 and TREASURE at No. 5. YG Entertainment’s new boy group TREASURE is creating a terrifying sensation ahead of its long-awaited official debut in July, with TREASURE T.M.I. And TREASURE MAP ranking third and fifth, respectively, on the Weekly Content TOP10 chart.
The sixth-ranked BLACKPINK has also topped the Weekly Content TOP10 chart with their two series while reaching relatively higher ratings for every show that they appear on. Placed from 7th to 10th is as followed: NCT DREAM, VIXX, LOONA, and WJSN.

The newly programmed “WE K-POP” entered the top spot in June. It is a program that focuses on K-pop artists and hosts a global showcase and has been produced for global K-Pop fans from the beginning. Especially, U.S. Billboard K-Pop columnist Jeff Benjamin’s perspective is accompanied and highlighted through the show.
Wassup MAN, ranked second, is a VLOG-type program produced by JTBC, where Park Joon-hyung, a California-born (a member of G.O.D), experiences hot places in Korea and the United States. Park Jun-hyung’s outspokenness and witty editing are also gaining huge popularity in Korea.
Placed from 3rd to 10th is as followed: TREASURE T.M.I, BLACKPINK HOUSE, TREASURE MAP, BLACKPICK DIARIES, SHOW CHAMPION BEHIND, WE K-POP EXTRA, PICNIC LIVE(VIXX), and FACT IN STAR(LOONA).
Other newly updated programs include 2IDIOTS (Kim Jae-hyun and Cha Hun, members of N.Flying compete in a series of unique challenges), JeA Lalala (the main vocalist of Brown Eyed Girls, giving individual vocal lessons to tone-deaf), THE ROADVIEW TRIP (traveling to the hometown of an idol group member and the neighborhood where they used to live, school, etc.), LET’S PLAY AT HOME WITH GWSN (GWSN introduces and experiences games, hobbies, and simple dishes that can be enjoyed indoors), AFTER MOM IS ASLEEP (an ASMR eating TV show where popular idol group members perform different missions to eat late-night snacks without being caught) and there are other eating variety shows that are combined with ASMR that provide comfort and relief with whispering sounds.
