Freddie Gibbs, who captivated genre listeners with his collaboration album [Bandana] with Madlib and the collaboration album [Alfredo] with The Alchemist, is already preparing a new solo studio album known as [SSS].
Interestingly, after three years, Freddie Gibbs’ solo album will be [SSS], with all the star producers he has collaborated with and new collaborating partners.
According to a recent interview, Freddie Gibbs is joining with producers such as Hit-Boy, Metro Boomin, Mike Will Made-It, Sevn Thomas, Metro Boomin, Working On Dying, Pharrell Williams, as well as Madlib and Alchemist, who previously collaborated.
He said, “It’s another ‘Album of the Year.’ Next week, I decided to do something with Pharrell, Madlib, Working on Dying, Alchemist, Sevn Thomas, Hit-Boy. Recently I spoke with Mike Will Made-It. It will be the album with the best production ever made.”
Meanwhile, Freddie Gibbs also revealed his thoughts on missing ‘Rap Album of the Year’ due to Nas at the 2021 Grammy Awards.
If you have to be taken by someone, whoever wants to be taken by Nas. Nas is a Hall of Fame MC. Well, where was it that I didn’t get lost by Macklemore or something like that.”
