On June 13, the official SNS of the National Museum of Korea said, “What is the national treasure that walks around the National Museum of Korea? Welcome, isn’t it?” and a number of photos of BTS were posted. These are photos of BTS members performing on the stage.

BTS delivered a congratulatory speech at the virtual graduation ceremony “Dear Class of 2020” (Dear Class of 2020), which was held on June 6 by YouTube to celebrate college students and high school students around the world who failed to hold their graduation ceremony due to the new corona virus infection (COVID19).

“Dear Class of 2020” was held as an online streaming event for YouTube. Celebrities from all walks of life, including former U.S. President Obama, his wife Michelle Obama, Google CEO Sundar Pichai, and pop star Lady Gaga, delivered congratulatory messages. In Korea, BTS is the only one to be listed as a congratulatory speaker.

The place where BTS delivered the congratulatory speech on the day is the “Road of History” in the center of the first floor of the National Museum of Korea. There are the ten-story stone pagoda at Gyeongcheonsa Temple Site No. 86 and the Monument to the Wonryang Prehistory of Wolgwangsa Temple No. 360 as well as the space connected to each exhibition room on the first floor. After the congratulatory speech, BTS also performed in an open yard outside the main building of the National Museum of Korea.

The National Museum of Korea said, “BTS asked questions first, and after several surveys, we finished filming in late May before closing with COVID19. The video was filmed at night in consideration of visitors.
It was reported that BTS chose the National Museum of Korea in consideration of Korea’s symbolism and various space uses, after initially considering various candidate sites such as Seoul National University.

Meanwhile, on June 11, the Cultural Heritage Administration made headlines when it urged member V of BTS to participate in the narration of the social contribution project “People Who Make Light.”

The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on its official SNS account on the 11th, “We are making a natural monument animal Braille Sensory for the visually impaired,” and added, “We are looking for participants in the storytelling narration that will be included in this book.” When netizens recommended V of BTS, he replied by writing, “It would be great if Taehyung could be with ushered in response. Kim Tae-hyung is V’s real name.

BTS will host its online live performance “BANG BANG CON The Live” at 6 p.m. on the 14th.
