(PRESSREELS) TWICE’s Japanese single “Fanfare” also performed well on the Oricon Daily Chart in the second week of its release.
The sixth single, “Fanfare,” released on July 8, has remained at the top of the Oricon daily chart for three consecutive days from July 17-19.
In the first week of its release, it topped the Oricon weekly singles chart (2020.07.06-2020.07.12), and in the second week of its release, it topped the daily charts in a row, showing off its potential as a “K-pop girl group.”
Expectations are high on what the ongoing daily chart-to-record relay will lead to in the new weekly chart.
TWICE has re-verified its unrivaled popularity by dominating various local charts as well as Oricon charts.
The album topped Billboard Japan’s Top Single Sales (2020.07.06-2020.07.12) and Billboard Japan’s Hot 100 on July 20, and also topped Japan’s largest record shop Tower Records’ comprehensive singles chart (2020.07.06-2020.07.12).
“Fanfare” and the title track of the same name feature vibrant lyrics and cheerful melodies, which contain TWICE’s original positive energy.
TWICE, which has made remarkable achievements not only in Korea but also in Japan, will release its third best album “#TWICE3” in Japan on September 16, continuing its success.
“#TWICE3” is the third installment of the “#TWICE” series, which made its debut in Japan and earned platinum certification by selling more than 250,000 copies there.
In addition to “The Best Thing I Ever Did,” Japanese versions of hit songs such as “FANCY,” “Feel Special” and “MORE & MORE” will be included.
Meanwhile, TWICE will hold its online concert “Beyond LIVE – TWICE: World in A Day” at 3 p.m. on August 9.
