After almost nine years of being together, Vanessa Hudgens and Austin Butler split up.
Reports came up that this High School Musical star and Once Upon a Time in Hollywood actor has decided to move on different ways.
This couple has been together since September of 2011, a year when Vanessa broke up with Zac Efron, his co-star in the High School Musical, whom she was dating for almost five years.
Vanessa and Austin were first seen in public sweetly together over these years.
But just recently, this couple has been doing their things. Vanessa is out filming her latest movie, “The Princess Switch 2,” and Austin is starting his production for the upcoming Elvis Presley biopic.
Last year, Vanessa Hudgens was excited for Austin Butler, who was going to play the role of Elvis in the film. In July, she shared in her Instagram profile, “I AMMMM OVERRRR THE F–KING MOOOOOOOOONNNNN. I CAN’T WAIT SO PROUD OF MY HONEYYYYY!!!”
Also, in the same month, Austin was interviewed, and he was saying how much he loves her. “It’s hard for me to even put into words what that girl means to me.” He added, “I am so inspired by her every day, and I just love her to my core.”
In August, Vanessa made a post dedicated to him on his birthday, “HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my love, my other half, my constant inspiration and supporter. My best friend. My everything @austinbutler 28 is going to be [fire emojis]”
Throughout the years, Vanessa has been vocal with their relationship, posting sweet photos of them, but just in these recent months, her posts were remarkably noticeable that she wasn’t with him. The last post she made was during Halloween.
During an interview with Vanessa, she told Cosmopolitan UK about her relationship with him, “It’s eight years this year – FaceTime, good communication, respect, and trust [are what keep us going]. The longest we’ve been apart was four months. It sucks!”. She continued, You start hating hearing yourself say ‘I miss you.’ But if it’s your person, you make it work.”
According to a source, “Vanessa has been telling those close to her about the breakup”.
Fans of Zac Efron are now nostalgic and are begging him to go after Vanessa. Currently, this 32-year-old man is single too. Many fans tweeted and included the hashtags #Zanessa #ZanessaReunion #ZanessaForeverAndAlways. Many are hopeful that these two will get back together again. In 2017, she mentioned that she lost contact with him.
Moving on, hours after the news about their split up emerged, this 31-year-old lady arrived alone at the TCL Chinese Theatre, all glammed up and beautiful.
She was wearing a Georges Hobeika dress with sequins with a long sheer train. She was pairing it with open-toe stilettos. Vanessa stars as a detective in the third installment of the trilogy Bad Boys, which also stars Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. The movie will be shown this Friday, January 17. Vanessa might be single, but she sure is shining.
