The former stars of the “High School Musical” Ashley Tisdale and Vanessa Hudgens are sharing videos of themselves during this time of self-quarantine and the coronavirus pandemic.
Tisdale did a choreography on Tik Tok.
With 12 million followers, this 34-year-old star, posted on her Instagram the video and captioned it as “If you need to work out while on #selfquarantine try this.
“Hopefully this will brighten your day a little!”
Vanessa Hudgens, on the other hand, sang along a song with a bottle of wine in her hand and popped it.
“Well. It’s come to this. Lol @ashleytisdale maybe I start getting into tik tok? Username is vanessahudgens, not vanessahudgens0 okay byeeee.”
The video was viewed almost 7 million times. Fans went crazy over this and some even wanted to see a reunion from the stars.
Hudgens was criticized a lot online when she made a separate comment on an Instagram Live about the virus pandemic commenting about the current coronavirus “ “is terrible, but like, inevitable?”
She apologized through her twitter and made a statement, “Hey guys. I’m so sorry for the way I have offended anyone and everyone who has seen the clip from my Instagram live yesterday. I realize my words were insensitive and not at all appropriate for the situation in our country and the world is in right now. This has been a huge wakeup call about the significance my words have, now more than ever. I’m sending safe wishes to everyone to stay safe and healthy during this crazy time.”
Many of the celebrities have now reached out through their social media to connect with their fans. Katharine McPhee and David Foster just announced that they will be doing some mini-concerts through Instagram Live every day for their fans, “Hi guys- just me here wearing the same sweater for 3 days. I & the hus @davidfoster had so much fun at the piano today going live. We wanna try and do it every day at 5:30 PT cuz what else is there to do? Thanks, @erinfoster for the great idea. See ya all tomorrow? Ps- it’s crazy how many Grammys I have no?”
Keith Urban also put up a free concert for his 7.5 million followers and shared a video of her singing “Make You Feel My Love”. Meanwhile, Pink posted also a video on her Instagram “Free concert slash piano lessons from my heart to yours. To make you feel my love 😍 rehearsals.”
Ben Platt announced that he will be hosting a virtual dance party on Tuesday whereas Stephen Amell will also go live on Instagram every day starting tomorrow as he felt “missing the opportunity to interact with other people.”
On Monday, Chris Martin from Coldplay made a performance live for his fans on his Instagrams whereas John Legend joined also the #togetherathome initiative. He announced on his Twitter, “I’ll be doing one tomorrow at 1 pm Pacific time. See you soon. We’ll try to get through this together!”
Lucky fans we have these days!
