The music video for “Save ME,” a track from BTS’ special album “Young Forever,” released in May 2016, exceeded 500 million views on YouTube around 1:42 p.m. on the 22nd.
With this, BTS broke the record for the most Korean singers by holding its ninth music video of 500 million views, following “DNA,” “Boy With Luv” (Feat. Halsey), “FAKE LOVE,” “FIRE,” “MIC Drop” remix, “IDOL,” “Dope,” and “Blood Sweat & Tears.”
BTS’ “Save ME” is a song featuring emotional vocals and refreshing sounds, and amidst the harsh reality, Seo Seong-dae formed a consensus with lyrics representing the feelings of young people.
Also, the music video for ‘Save ME’ is filmed using one-take filming techniques to show BTS’ performance well. In particular, BTS members singing in the wind against the background of low clouds redoubles the mood of the lyrical and mournful song.
