(PRESSREELS) As of the 10th, a total of 187,000 videos of using “Filter” as background music were uploaded on BTS’s official account of “TikTok,” which was the most frequently used background music among solo songs in the fourth full-length album “MAP OF THE SOUL: 7.”
This is the highest ranking among solo songs included in the entire BTS album, ranking ninth among all songs used as background music, making it the only solo song to be named “TOP 10.”
“TikTok” shows the explosive influence and popularity of Jimin among major target groups in their 10s and 20s, with 70 percent of users leading various trends under the age of 24.
“Filter” is a song that expresses his desire to show his colorful appearance and has achieved the feat of “Triple Crown,” which enters the U.S. Billboard’s “Hot 100,” the British official chart and the Canadian Billboard singles chart at the same time since its release in February, and is still receiving a heated response, more than 170 days after its release.
Meanwhile, “Filter” set a milestone for the first time in K-pop’s 70 million streaming on Spotify, the world’s largest music streaming site, on the 9th, and it surpassed 30 million in official audio footage on YouTube channels on the 4th, becoming the most streaming solo song in Korea.
