Celebrating the seventh anniversary of the debut of the group BTS, member V’s Chinese fans celebrate the creation of a “V Road” in Seoul.
On the 2nd, V’s Chinese fan club “Baidububa” unveiled the first and second supports with a message of affection, “You are the most precious being in the world and fill our four seasons.”
The Chinese fan community first announced that it plans to build a “V Road” embroidered with V’s banner for a total of 17.4 kilometers of major streets in Seoul from the 8th to the 12th. This is a four to five-hour walk for adults. Baidububa explained that Banner’s phrase means absolute love for V with “Love is perfect with V,” just as it cannot be a complete love (LOVE) without V in LOVE.
Baidububa said the support site has been chosen as a large outdoor area in consideration of the current Korona 19. The venue for banner flags will be Hangang-daero, Yongsan-gu, the hottest place with the largest floating population, and Gangnam Samsung. Sincheon, Jamsil, Sinsa-dong Garosu-gil, Cheongdam-dong Street, Hongdae, and Myeong-dong have been selected as seven places to mark the seventh anniversary.
In particular, he also expressed his hope that V would see banner flags flying in Yongsan and Samseong-dong, where his agency and home are located. V’s large billboards will also be decorated at major bus stops on these seven streets.
Chinese fans have expressed their love and support for V with their amazing projects. On V’s birthday last year, he hosted a large-scale event with 200 drones and 100 wind lamps in the night sky of the Great Wall, which no one could have imagined. A professional video crew air-taped the beautiful scene and released it on YouTube on the 30th, V’s birthday.
In addition, “Baidu Bubba” participated in the “2019 Seoul Christmas Festival,” Seoul’s representative cultural festival, as an official sponsor for the first time as a celebrity fan club, and “Pureple V Zone” set up for V in Cheonggyecheon, Seoul, was talked about by countless people.
V’s support based on the powerful economic power and scale of Chinese fans is the most prominent K-pop star, even though BTS is not active in China. He has achieved the shortest amount of 500 million won in fundraising for his birthday and has set a record of joint purchase of albums among K-pop artists’ fan clubs for two consecutive years, proving V’s status.
