(PRESSREELS) On Christmas Eve, a place with the theme of V, a member of BTS from Daegu, appeared at the E-World Starlight Festival in Daegu. Chinese ARMY “Baidu Vbar” has created a colorful space that shines purple to celebrate V’s birthday.
According to Baidu Vbar and E-World on the 24th, Baidu Vbar will run “V Castle” at the E-World Starlight Festival in Daegu for three weeks from the evening of Christmas Eve to January 15 next year.
Baidu Vbar organized the event to celebrate V’s birthday on December 30. It is the first time that the E-World Starlight Festival has collaborated under the theme of an idol.
V Castle hung a large neon sign with a birthday message on a huge flower wall. On top of this, a 2-meter-tall wind doll will be installed to welcome visitors.
The phrase “I Purple U” message sculpture, which makes ARMY happy, shines with the purple light decoration, the color of BTS’ symbol.
According to E-World, Baidu Vbar commissioned an event agency in Seoul a few months ago to decorate the theme zone and envisioned the form and size of the event. Baidu Vbar decided to encourage visitors to follow safety rules in consideration of the re-emergence of Corona 19.
Until now, Baidu Vbar has been active in supporting BTS. Last year, Baidu Vbar celebrated V’s birthday by participating as the first official sponsor of the fan club at the “2019 Seol Christmas Festival.” In particular, this year, it raised $1 million to celebrate V’s birthday, achieving a new record for supporting K-pop idols in China.
They will also advertise their birthday on the 2020 SBS Gayo Daejon. The Gayo Daejon, which was conducted in Daegu by recording without the crowd, became a hot topic when BTS was known to appear.
An E-World official said, “This year’s E-World Starlight Festival hopes for an end to COVID-19 with 10 million lights and blue LED roses with a ‘miracle’ meaning.” V Castle will also enrich the attractions.
