Nokia has launched a new smartphone in the market which comes in its upper mid-range Nokia 7 lineup. This new smartphone from Nokia, launched by HMD Global, is the Nokia 7.2. As is the norm, the Nokia 7.2 from the company also comes as an Android One offering. This means that you will find Stock Android experience on this device. Also, it will be the first of the non-Google smartphones to be updated to Android 10 and later.

While the smartphone was already announced by Nokia at the IFA 2019, we now know that Nokia has officially launched the smartphone in the global market. Talking about the specifications, Nokia 7.2 comes with a 6.39-inch Full HD+ which is also a PureDisplay which is what Nokia calls its display technology. The display on Nokia’s 7.2 is a HDR certified one but it is not revealed if it is HDR-10 certified or not.

The company says that its Nokia 7.2 will convert regular non-HDR content into HDR content in real-time as well. Apart from that, the Nokia 7.2 is powered by Snapdragon 660 processor as we already knew from the IFA 2019. On the other hand, you get two RAM options which are 4GB and 6GB respectively. Nokia 7.2 comes with a fixed internal storage option of 64GB. It runs on Android 9.0 Pie which is a bit disappointing since it runs on Android One program and Android 10 is already released from a month.

As far as cameras on the Nokia 7.2 are concerned, you get a primary 48MP camera along with an 8MP ultra-wide camera and a 5MP sensor for depth. On the front, there is a notch in which the front camera is housed. For the front camera, you get a 20MP sensor which has Quad Pixel, ZEISS Optics. Nokia 7.2 also comes with a rear fingerprint sensor, face unlock, dedicated Google Assistant Button, 3.5mm audio jack.
