Rapper Pop Smoke found dead in his home.
In a surveillance video, it showed that four masked men in hoodies entered the house shortly after the house was deadbolted the front doors.
A CNN report said that the house alarm didn’t turn on, which caused the invasion easier for them to get in.
One thing the rapper did earlier that day, he posted his home address that was 20000 block of Hercules drive that matches his social media posting.
He showed off gift bags that were given to him for hitting the top 7 on the Billboard 200 chart on February 18.
The rapper was at home during the robbery invasion, and around 4:30 AM, two men broke into the house.
Two men fired shots on Pop Smoke, and they were seen leaving the residence.
Pop Smoke was then rushed to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center and was pronounced dead shortly.
As for now, there are still no suspects, and no one could identify them. Authorities don’t know if the rapper knows the shooters.
There was one man who was handcuffed by the police but was later released.
The timestamp of the tragedy is as follows – Earlier in the morning, Pop Smoke took a photo of him and a friend holding a lot of cash, just where his driveway was and where he got shot.
At 7:32, the authorities tell that there was a party at their house. As of that moment, there is no motive yet as what the shooters wanted. The investigation is still ongoing.

Republic Records made a statement: “We are devastated by the unexpected and tragic loss of Pop Smoke. Our prayers and thoughts go out to his family, friends, and fans, as we mourn this loss together.”
50 Cent shared a photo and wrote, “No such thing as success without jealousy, treachery comes from those who are close.”
Chance the rapper also shared, “Rest Up Pop Smoke, you were too young. God Bless and comfort your family. What a crazy trajectory you were on man smh”.
The giant live music streaming company also paid tribute to his death, and You were the leader of a movement. Your impact will never be forgotten.R.I.P. Pop Smoke.”
In July, the rapper released an album “Welcome to the Party”, It was considered to be the song of the summer by many of the listers.
Nicki Minaj made her remix of the song several months after. “Gatti” is another song that he did with Travis Scott.
Last month, he was charged with stealing a Rolls-Royce worth $375,000 and was believed that he was a member of the Crips gang.
During an interview in 2019, he said that he was kicked out when he was in eighth grade for bringing a gun to school and that his music was for kids like him “got to carry their guns to school because it ain’t safe, but they still got to make sure they get the diploma ’cause they mom could be happy. I do it for them.”
Pop Smoke died at the young age of 20. RIP.
