In commemoration of the seventh anniversary of their debut, BTS has been presenting various contents, including opening ceremony videos and family photos, under the name “2020 BTSFESTA.” It is an event that releases video and photo content to fans in time for BTS’ debut date on June 13 every year, and various tweets using hashtag #20BTSFESTA are also posted on BTS’ official Twitter account, drawing attention from fans around the world.
Twitter celebrates the seventh anniversary of BTS’ debut and offers BTS logo emoji and ARMY logo emoji. The emoji is automatically applied to tweets using hashtags #BTS, #BTSFESTA and #BTSARMY. The special emoji for the seventh anniversary of BTS was made with a ‘black’ logo to support the voice of #BlackLivesMatter.
In addition, seven emojis that apply to the names of national texts by BTS members will be offered for the first time among K-pop artists. Each member’s face emoji will be applied to tweets using BTS member names #RM, #Jin, #JIN, #JIN, #J-HOPE, #jHOPE, #JIMIN, #V, #V, #Jungkook, #JK, #JungKook, etc., and will be available from June 13 to 30.
“Twitter is the best platform for K-POP fans to check what’s going on around the world and participate in real-time conversations,” said Kim Yeon-jung, director of Twitter’s global K-POP & K-content partnership. “We hope that ARMY around the world will be able to communicate in a different way in celebration of the 7th anniversary of BTS debut using the special emoji provided by Twitter.”
