US Surgeon General on Coronavirus: ‘It’s going to get bad’

Whitehouse surgeon general made a strong statement regarding the coronavirus and that it is going to get worse for these coming days.

Surgeon General Jerome Adams, the topmost health official in the country, made it clear that people in America should have the “stay at home orders.”

It has become so alarming that the population of the country with more than 100 million will be given some restrictions to fight and minimize the spread of the virus.

It has already infected almost 35000 people and has 428 deaths relating to the virus. This track is getting more similar to some of the European countries like Italy and Spain.

During Today’s show interview, the surgeons said, “This week it’s going to get bad.”

He set an example at Washington D.C.’s famous annual cherry blossoms. “This is how the coronavirus spread is occurring. Everyone needs to be taking the right steps right now: stay home.”

Although he has a more cheerful voice than other health expects regarding the pandemic, there has been a lot of concern about the economy going down.

President Trump made a tweet last night and said, “We cannot let the cure be worse than the problem itself. At the end of the 15 days, we will make a decision as to which way we want to go.”

Also, on Monday, the U.S. Federal Reserve had made some programs to offset the disaster in the economy that was caused by an outbreak, making a lot of unexpected credit for individuals, small businesses, and other employers.

Congress was concern about the economy and the forecast, which have concluded emergency measures.

Not Democrats and Republicans in the Senate are working on a bill for economic relief, and this might further trigger more loss as it is now in the U.S. Stock Market.

The Senate will once again meet Today and make some considerations on the bill.

The Democrats are more interested in healthcare workers, health institutions, and the local government, whereas the Republicans are accusing them of taking advantage despite the national emergency.

Some experts have already said that 15 days is not enough to curb the spread of the coronavirus.

New Jersey governor is asking the federal government to spare them more personal protective equipment and that every state in the nation is looking for the same things and that they are now competing with those things.

He said, “We need a lot more, Anything they could do is going to make a huge difference. “He also reminded his call to provide $100 billion in cash assistance to places which have been gruesomely affected by it, New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, and Pennsylvania. He added, “We need the feds to come in a big way to help us. Folks are hurting.”

On Sunday, the president has held off to the idea of the Defense Protection Act to be able to increase the production of different health supplies and machines. He said that “it is not a good concept.”
